Hi friends, I'll show you my new work: it is a wolf entirely hand painted on a canvas 80 cm x 100 cm with acrylic colors.
For the realization of this painting I chose to portray only the head of this wonderful wolf with a gray coat. I chose to represent him with blue eyes on a light blue background that reflects the tones of the gaze. I painted the hair one by one, with different and repeated steps, to create the softness, the voids and the fullness of the coat through a play of light and shadow. This artwork is made with acrylic colors on a 80 cm x 100 cm canvas.
This painting was exhibited at the International Collective Exhibition of Contemporary Art at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan in 2019

All my paintings are entirely handpainted and are unique and original pieces with a certificate of authenticity.
I use colors and materials of the best brands, large and high quality canvases mounted on a 4 cm thick frame. The painting continues on all edges and is immediately ready to be exhibited in the environment you prefer.
The result is a very modern work of the highest quality, with attention to every detail.
My artworks, of hyperrealistic and with a photographic style, have got as main subjects animals, mostly exotic ones such as elephants, giraffes or leopards, or typical of the Sardinian territory. I manage to highlight the details, meticulously cared for, and to focus attention on the subject, which is the only character of the work: the background, in fact, is absent, it is mostly monochrome and it emphasizes the focus on the animal, abstracting and extracting it from a real space.
My style is defined as pop - hyperrealism because the subjects are painted following a detailed technique, but their position in an unreal space gives the artworks features that are more typical of pop art, so hyperrealism and a graphic style melt. I use different techniques according to the subject and the effects I want to obtein.
Some information about the gray wolf, animal with "minimal risk of extinction".
The gray wolf also called common wolf or simply wolf, is a canid, present in the remote areas of North America and Eurasia. Its winter coat is long and thick, mainly variegated gray in color. Some specimens also have white, red, brown or black coats.
It has a long history of association with humans, being detested and persecuted by most pastoral communities, but respected by both agricultural and hunting and gathering communities.
In Italy there is, in the Apennines and western Alps, a subspecies, the Apennine wolf (Canis lupus italicus), while in the Eastern Alps there are some specimens of the typical subspecies (Canis lupus lupus).
The decline of gray wolf populations stopped in the 1970s, leading to recolonization and artificial reintroduction in areas where it was once extinct. This change occurred thanks to legal protection and changes in rural management; however competition with humans for livestock and game, concerns about the possibility of aggression and fragmentation of its habitat, continue to pose a threat to the species. Despite this, it is at "minimal extinction risk", according to the IUCN red list.
