Hi friends, I’ll show you my new painting: it is a jaguar entirely hand painted on a canvas 100 cm x 100 cm.
It is different from the previous ones because I used different materials and tools: enamels, paints, spatulas and rollers. I wanted to get a very bright work, with very sharp contrasts and I am very satisfied with the result.

All my paintings are entirely handpainted and are unique and original pieces with a certificate of authenticity.
I use colors and materials of the best brands, large and high quality canvases mounted on a 4 cm thick frame. The painting continues on all edges and is immediately ready to be exhibited in the environment you prefer. The result is a very modern work of the highest quality, with attention to every detail.
My artworks, of hyperrealistic and with a photographic style, have got as main subjects animals, mostly exotic ones such as elephants, giraffes or leopards, or typical of the Sardinian territory. I manage to highlight the details, meticulously cared for, and to focus attention on the subject, which is the only character of the work: the background, in fact, is absent, it is mostly monochrome and it emphasizes the focus on the animal, abstracting and extracting it from a real space.
My style is defined as pop - hyperrealism because the subjects are painted following a detailed technique, but their position in an unreal space gives the artworks features that are more typical of pop art, so hyperrealism and a graphic style melt. I use different techniques according to the subject and the effects I want to obtein.
Some information about the jaguar
The jaguar (Panthera onca) is a carnivorous mammal of the felidae family. It is the largest American feline and the third largest in the world, after the tiger and the lion. Dimensions and weight vary considerably. The weight is normally between 56 and 96 kg.
The legs are shorter than a small tiger or a lion of similar weight, but they are robust and powerful. The dimensions of the jaguar are greater than those of the leopard which is a slender and light animal; instead the jaguar has a robust and muscular appearance, having a rather large head, a compact body and a short tail in proportion to the rest of the body. These characteristics, combined with the slower pace, are in themselves already sufficient to easily distinguish it from other spotted felines in zoos.
The area where the jaguar lives stretched from the south of the United States to northern Patagonia thus including Central America and part of South America; today however it has disappeared in a large part of its ancient range, and today it survives above all in the Amazon basin.
The jaguar is a skilled climber, although less experienced than the leopard due to the greater size, and can spend several hours of his day in the trees. Jaguars hunt deer, large rodents, such as capybara, and also face tapirs, animals that reach the weight of a small horse. Despite its size and undoubted strength, the jaguar rarely attacks humans, and is not feared in the same way as the other three felines of the genus Panthera. Despite this, examples of "man-eating" jaguars would not seem entirely unknown. The jaguar was a sacred animal in Mayan mythology.
